Simple switch for compressor?

I'm putting air on board. For right now it's just for hood up use. Tires, camping, etc. No lockers, no air horn. No real need to access from under the hood. I'm thinking of just putting a simple switch under the hood. Basic toggle.

I'd like to do something more grand (Switch Pros 8100) down the road, but don't have anything else to add to that right now. I have no lights (yet) or anything else that warrants the extra $500 or so on some switch set up.

Thoughts?

Why do you need a $500 switch setup. Just put an AOB switch in the dash, wire to a relay and be done.

No open spots, don't want to cut the dash for one switch. If I put something on the dash the switch pro or sPod or something seems like the way to go because I do want to add a couple of things down the road. Including lockers in a year or two.

Crazy? Maybe

Makes sense. I have a switch in the dash, but there is a secondary switch on my compressor. Just make sure the switch you use is waterproof, but it will work just fine. Be sure to use a relay if your switch isn't rated for the amperage of the compressor.
