Real Time Help - Overextended CV

Hey everyone. Workin on my bro's grand cherokee, installing an old man emu kit. I think we over extended the cv. We can't get the spindle to line up with the uca and the cv shaft won't cycle in or out. Does this sound right? And to go about fixing what do we do, pull the shaft and realign the cv? Thanks.

Yea. Naw it was totally messed up, joint popped apart inside the boot. Apparently jeep uses two different length half shafts, and the front struts have a yoke that goes over the shaft, making for a rather difficult install. We messed up the shorter one by pushing down on it to clear the new strust.. Should habe just pulled the shaft in the first place. Ended up goin to the dealer to swap it for a new one.

Anyways, thanks for the help we got it.
