I dug around on the net and coalesced the needed info. I too used the Entune app suite for about 3 days and determined they had zero added value, and wanted them gone. I found this thread which gave me the confidence that an end-user solution existed.
Here's the steps.
1) turn on ignition, but don't start the car.
2) press and *hold* the APPS button on the radio while performing step 3 below.
3) cycle the head lights 3 times (turn on then off the headlights 3 times)
- this activates a hidden service screen on the display, you can release the APPS button
4) press and hold the "INIT" button on the display until a dialog box appears with the text "Personalized data is initialized. OK? [YES] [NO]"
5) select YES, and your radio returns to the factory settings
here's a video of the process:

This process will blitz the added Entune apps (like Pandora, iHeartRadio, Yelp, etc.), and also removes your saved contacts, nav points, radio presets. Restoring my presets and contacts took me about 5 minutes. Well worth the time to get those Entune apps out of there. I have not found any ill effect of this process, the Nav system, XM satellite trial subscription, bluetooth, etc works as expected. But your mileage may vary I suppose.
Remember, you can still listen on your car's sound system to any audio app on your smart phone like Pandora, just utilize the Bluetooth Audio function of your Toyota's sound system and setup your smart phone to beam its audio to bluetooth. Your smart phone is a way better interface anyhow.
