I installed my Rago panels yesterday evening. Today I tackled the challenge of mounting my fire extingusiher to it, without buying Rago's mount. Largely because it appears it will be a few more weeks before their mount is shipping. And, TBH, because of the cost.
The extinguisher came with a bracket that has several holes drilled through the base. The intention was that you could mount it to a wall using screws. But I realized the holes lined up with the holes on some Stanley mending plates I had.
So, I was able to clamp the mount to the panel using the mending plates on the back side. I used the two extra Rago-supplied bolts (I didn't mount the bottle opener) on the top, and some hardware from my scrounge at the bottom.
This seems very solid! I'll test it out around town and then see how it fares off the pavement. Sorry about the last pic, but it's difficult to get a pic of the backside of the panel so I can show how this is mounted. If I take the panel down later to mount other things, I'll try to update with a better pic.
