Yeah, no. I will never support them because they like to eliminate competition by suing them out of existence. There was one rack I wanted, yet can no longer buy new because they needed to bully them out of business. They will never see a dime of my money, and I will tell every single person who will listen about their shitty practices.

Just wondering, with the months of lead times, are they making you pay up front?

It’s amazing they have the organization to actually sue or threaten to sue anyone, on account they can’t figure out the basics of customer service.
If they put half the effort they put into making other companies lives’ hell, into their lead time and customer service, they wouldn’t need to sue anyone because everyone would order from Gobi and they’d hardly have any competition.
Not sure who this OP is, but I hope he prints this thread and puts it in their break room, or forwards it to the owners.

Not one dime. I bought direct from them. They didn’t even charge my credit card until it was already on its way and called me to ask if it could be charged. I’ve heard that those who bought from an outside vendor had to pre-pay, and they also had super long lead times.

Five days and three pages, not a word of response from gobi nick. Too bad. I'd really like to see how well he takes a beating as the gobi scapegoat (they better pay him well!) but I bet he's a sock puppet trying to stir things up.

What the hell is the point of laying one's dick on the table?
Hard to blame him ... what could he possibly say?

Maybe something like "hey guys gobi sent me here to work out some kinks in our follow up procedure". Something simple as that would make a lot of people here happy. I had a gobi rack on my runner and loved it but waited long as hell which I knew going into it but the only call I got from them was to arrange shipping and even then the lady was acting like im on her time didn't give me much wiggle room. It is what is though.
For what it's worth im in the car service industry and if I don't call someone within a few hours with an update they go ape shit. Now while waiting 12 plus weeks for a $1,500+ rack it would be nice to get a call or an email from time to time.

Oh I have. Like I said I didn't care for the wait times and loved the rack. I was just throwing my 2 cents in.
