Off road Jack

I was wheeling with my Early Bronco club and a member broke his axle shaft. Out came this great jack/jack stand combo.

Worked great and has an extended reach for lifted larger tires vehicles.

Bought one as soon as I got home.

Hi Lift jacks are great, but if ya don’t know what your doing or have the proper bumper or rock sliders to attach to they are tough to manage.

I carry a 20ton bottle Jack for off-road use. Does the Jack stand lock into place?

Looks cool, but got lots of bad reviews on Amazon, for leaking Off road Jack

Yup. Jack stand locks into place. That’s what makes its slick in my opinion.

I read the same review but know a few folks that have the same jack and had zero issues w the leaking.

i have 2 of those, they are legit. I would recommend carrying some scrap wood in case you are not on flat ground.

I have one but have only used it in the driveway too far. It takes a little getting used to lifting first after you are done so you can release the jack stand.

Funny to see this posted, I just came across this jack whilst cleaning out my garage this weekend... I used to carry it in my lifted Touareg (had it from 2010-2014) because the factory jack was useless w/ the extra ride height... I guess I'll be bringing this along at some point in the 4Runner as well now

For great quality jacks and jack stands, check out these great US made stuff:

Jack/ Garage Stands

Worth the price.

I carry this one as well. It's fantastic.

I have had no problem with leaking, and there are only 2 ways I could imagine it would leak.
1. the screw is backed out too far for releasing the jack and left that way... rookie bottle jack mistake that you'd only make once
2. the jack is stored on its side, which would be incredibly awkward in or out of a vehicle-- it has a big heavy base.

I've used this thing everywhere, and it's an incredible value for the money.
downside is that it takes up some cargo space-- but well worth it the first time you have to jack a vehicle in the mud
