Toyota spread a few updates across the TRD Pro lineup, too. The Tundra TRD Pro can now be had in either Double Cab or CrewMax configurations. The Tacoma TRD Pro gets new headlights, LED fog lights and a new wheel design, in addition to new tech borrowed from the Land Cruiser. The 4Runner TRD Pro gets a new grille and two USB ports for the back seats. Every TRD Pro vehicle now has standard keyless entry, too.

2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro and 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro
Th off-road versions of Toyota's mid-size SUV and full-size truck were treated to some changes, too. The 4Runner TRD Pro gets a new grille design and all versions of the 2020 4Runner finally come standard with automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warnings, and automatic high-beam headlights. The 2019 4Runner was the last Toyota to lack that suite of advanced safety tech.
Tech upgrades continue inside the 2020 4Runner TRD Pro with newly standard keyless ignition and a pair of USB ports for rear-seat riders. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility are standard on the 2020 4Runner and operate through an 8.0-inch touchscreen for infotainment.

To be honest, I am kind of sad to see the 4Runner start to lose it's old school, and simple identity.
Don't get me wrong, I like tech features especially the 8" screen with Android Auto. However, 1 of the coolest things about the 4Runner is how it reminds me of older generations trucks. One of my favorite trucks is the FJ70

So this is the second mid-cycle refresh essentially as the exterior and interior are going to be essentially the same. So maybe 2024 for a completely new re-design (6th Gen)? Or never?
I like having a key. More technology, more things to break. Will all this new technology help or hurt their sales? Who knows.

Highly doubt these things will hurt sales. Some people still prefer less tech, but ultimately still love the 4runner and there arent a lot of other options.
For the vast majority that just daily drive their 4runner, this almost brings it into the correct decade, so should help sales I would think.

I like the desert sand color (not sure what they call it) or the orange in the 4Runner TRDs. Never was much of a fan of any color of blue.

I love Voodoo blue but I wouldn't buy it for myself. There are some colors out there I am just thankful we get to see.
Inferno Orange however - I'd take that in a second.
