My last vehicle was a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited & the Stereo in it had a Hard Drive where the CD player would actually rip the Audio CD's and make playlists and they could be saved as Favorites so when you are on the road, you don't have to fumble looking for that 1 road tune album to play when you are driving on the highway.
This 4Runner does not have that feature.
What are you guys doing to work around that when you want to play a particular music MP3 album off the USB Drive?
Yes, I can sync via Bluetooth but that kinda defeats the purpose after spending 40K on a 4runner.
Will someone please toss me some ideas?
I could not figure this out and the Toyota Dealer, a week after the sale told me that no one has ever asked about this (Really!) ....

Create a playlist on a device and use the USB port to play whatever you recorded. I dont care about any of that stuff. The 4Runner technologies are tremendous for off road, not so tremendous in the hip music tech world.
