UCA Install Shop in SE Denver area?

Does anyone know a shop that can install UCAs that's in the southeast side of Denver? I want to have JBAs put on so I just need a mechanic that's reputable to do it. I'm trying to avoid having to drive across town to have RSG do it for me and I can't do it myself b/c I've had back surgery recently.
Thanks for any help.

FWIW - have whoever is doing you alignment install them. They're dead simple to install. Any mechanic who does any suspension work should be able to handle them. And you basically can't screw it up other than making sure the through bolt is properly tightened.

Do yourself a favor and have them replace the nut with a nylock nut. Mine have backed off a couple times. Didn't fall off or anything. But the nature of the design tends to back off the nut over time if you are running extended travel shocks. It's not only on JBA arms either. It's just a function of the way they tend to twist. At a minimum have some thread lock put on the nut. It's one application where it's a really good idea to do.

Good luck.

Thanks.

I made some calls after I saw your post. I think the prices are out of line with the work involved. I understand they have to run a business but...

So, I've decided to just wait until mid-May when I can bend and crawl around again and do it myself. I watched some videos and it seems simple enough. I didn't realize you don't have to touch the coilovers to replace the UCA.

Just need to do research on the torque for the two bolts and I should be good to go... in 7 weeks.

Thanks again for the help.

Does JBA ever run deals?

85 ft/lbs for the bolts through the UCA!

They usually don't run deals, but they are definitely worth it and are reasonable at their everyday price! They come with instructions/installation guidelines literally step by step. It would be hard to mess it up, but here are the install instructions... same for our 4runners! Instructions ------> Powered by Keap

I just did the JBA UCA's over the weekend and it's a very simple job so long as you have a second set of hands for the alignment of that long sheer bolt. All told it was maybe a 2 hour job and really taking my time. I don't know if the 5th gen instructions are the same, but removing the battery and tray really helped with mine.

Just out of curiosity, what were they charging to install UCAs?

It's more about the logistics of getting it to them in the morning, then getting to work, getting back to them, then getting back to work/home.
It's not worth it for something relatively small.
Maybe you have all the free time in the world. I don't.

@atalarico I've been given between $250 (reasonable but see above) to over $400. This is in addition to the alignment costs.

In the end, it's an easy decision for me to wait a couple more months and do it myself. I've been driving it this way for a year. It can wait.

I would suggest RSG Offroad. They have a great reputation.
Figure it out....see if you can drop it off the night before...Uber to work then RSG to pick it up later on.

I wouldn't consider swapping UCAs a relatively small job...but not an extreme job.

If you haven't purchased JBA arms, I would suggest SPC arms and Toytec Lifts can install them for $240
