I tried googling around for it and I'm currently on the Entune Support site, Toyota Entune Support | Toyota Owners
It's hard to say what was updated, as they don't seem to have any forthcoming information about the Software Push we received today...

I just signed up on the Toyota Owners app & didn't see anything, maybe it's for the fancy wntune or is it for the vehicle as a whole

Well it didn't fix the occasional crashing and rebooting of my headunit when trying to make a call.

I don't think that AdBlock would work in that case. In general, many types of software notify users about updates, and even when I was working withkindgeek.com enterprise solutions, I decided that I want to have such a feature as well because it's pretty convenient, but I don't think it can be considered as an ad when you got a software.

For Toyota vehicles with a Data Connection, Toyota separates headunit updates into two categories:
-Firmware/Required Updates (Basically non-optional Toyota required updates)
-Other updates (app updates, and minor features; these you can turn off through settings on some headunits)
I do wish that Toyota would have much better patch notes for their headunits and vehicle modules... I have seen indie game developers have better detailed notes...
