I believe majority of the cost is in the labor. Did the shop post their hourly rate. I believe the going rate is like a $100 an hour. I see you're in SoCal. Not sure how far you are from OC. If you wanted to tackle this on yourself, I can help you do it. It's not hard. Just time. I think it can be knock out in two hours.
