Don't get me wrong because I've been drag racing my whole life, but racing a 4Runner is like bringing a Moped to a Motorcycle Rally.
BUT as long as you enjoy it have fun!!

drag racing a 4runner has to be as exciting as watching paint dry......
but as long as you are enjoying it, who cares what i think, lol....

Thanks! It seemed I was quite a bit better than 70% of the people out there, it was an open drag night so lots of Newbs, but eh, I'll take it.
4Runners are so easy to launch haha

Great rally racing in the area
That road just south of the dragstrip will take you all the way to Lahontan Reservoir area and Fort Churchill, with some great mixed driving conditions. Deep sand and big dunes, open playa, well-graded roads with just enough gravel for drifting....
Tread lightly, lol.

Hope yer OK with some advice/criticism. Advice: if you’re not running slicks, don’t go through the water box. You’re just draggin’ water in your tread. Criticism: none on what you’re running. My first, in ‘64, was my Mom’s ‘55 Pontiac more door sedan (17.8). There were other less dragable vehicles, not the least of which was my ‘71 Corolla 1600 (17.7). I plan to go to our local NHRA 1/8 mile strip ... eventually. You’re double bubbling. Light the top bulb and wait for your “opponent” to come in. More advice. Shallow stage just creep in enough to light the second bulb. With a bit of a rollout, you’ll get a better time and speed. Good luck my friend and remember to have fun! BTW, at ‘71, I still have a hair trigger right foot. LOL!

Get a sprint booster or pedal command for better RTs might as well sound cool with a URD Y pipe and Borla exhaust.
There is a Tacoma world member with a 4th gen hitting 14s but he has an APR tune and has done extensive work on his fuel management system. Of course he is a pure street 4runner that he road course tracks at MSR in Angelton, TX but still very impressive. I bought his Y pipe off him while he upgraded to Rooster's custom jig weld Y, it's like $1k.haha Damn, I know lol

The Pro Street Firebird race. As soon as the light turned green and that car was in view of the camera, I laughed at how stupid fast it was. Fun video.
Now you have times to compare when you get a supercharger.
