Who is your favorite online Toyota parts seller?
I ordered a couple times from Camelback Toyota because Tim's videos mention they charge very little for parts, and Az is close enough to Ca to hopefully not take long. Shipping is free over $150 except for bulky goods like radiators...However they forgot to ship my rad, only the hoses arrived. They sent it out when I emailed them however my only vehicle was in pieces an extra 4 days, was unable to travel to Overland Expo, a huge bummer. Could happen with any seller to be fair.
However I went to order an outer tie rod end today and they wanted $20 to ship, and they were $5-7 more than the other online sellers price as well as their high shipping. I emailed them to ask if they had changed their policy and they said they "just raised their FedEx" as FedEx raised rates...but if true no one else has followed suit.
There was a seller on Amazon "Amazon Amazing Parts" fulfilled by Amazon, free 2 day Prime, but there are some things I will not buy from Amazon, too many counterfeits are sold there, and especially I am not thrilled by the "fulfilled by" sellers.
I have heard some people here have had their local dealer price match. Mine laughed, which is what I expected.
Funny thing, I have two dealers in Oakland, the online sellers quote "retail"price of the part at $72, one dealer wanted $86 and the other $93 "special order".
Go figure....

If you dont mind driving down 880 a bit further, Piercy Toyota in Milpitas prices weren't too bad. I really needed a tie rod end and they had it ordered and ready by next day.

I've had really good luck with McGeorge Toyota. Ordered from them a few times now and they always had the lowest price and ship real quick as well

I order from Sparks and Mcgeorge Toyota online parts stores. Both tend to have good prices, the shipping is a bit high though. My last order was $28.28 from mcgeorge toyota and exactly half of that was shipping. It was still cheaper than my local dealer.

Thanks all who replied. I ordered from Olathe late in the afternoon, they advertise same day shipping. They had the tie rod in stock, said because it was after 3 it would go out the next day if I ordered online, so I did. Next day received an email with a tracking #....

While I have not purchased from them, I have checked McGeorge in Virginia - mentioned above by others in this thread and their prices in most cases seem to be the best. There's always going to be an exception.
More often than not - I'll ty to find an ebay seller rated at 100% - free shipping.
As most know - many of these online sellers offer better prices than your local dealer but some will kill you with shipping costs.
Ya gotta shop around.

I added items to cart once from mcgeorge and printed it out and my local dealer price matched it. Saved me on shipping , had to pay sales tax though.

The most any local Toyota dealer will give me is 10% off. When they see the 20%-30% discount from online sellers, they say "sorry - no can do".
As one other person mentioned above, not all dealers will price match a hefty discount.

Depends on the part you need and the time frame in which you need it but I have been using Amayama for years.

I looked at Amayama out of curiosity, although I needed the tie rod end quickly.
Their price with shipping to US was the same as an internet dealer with shipping here, although I have seen people save $100's...timing is everything.
