Adjust the stroke for a little more torque down long, it may drop to 300 or so hp, and go from there.
BMW...why use them. is the largest earth-bound automaker tired of making autos, and engines, and such?

I thought the same thing > why couldn't Toyota have just made an IS350 coupe with a more Toyota skin? If toyota can make a $45k IS350 with 310hp and awd, can't it make a $45k Supra version of the same platform? And a $60k version with either the 5.0L v8 or the twin turbo 3.5? It's crazy that they couldn't modify their own platform barely at all to make the supra in house.
Or just build a stripper version of the RC-F. It's $65k in Lexus trim. Make it $50k in Toyota trim and drop 500lbs of weight and it'd be a rocket ship in its price range. Throw in a $5k TRD Supercharger option that bumps up to 600hp/600tq, and they'd actually sell a shit ton of them too.
And Toyota's 3.5 turbo 6 is a lot more powerful than the BMW I6 that it's currently using. So it would probably be a faster car as well in the higher trim models.
What all of this tells me is that Toyota doesn't give a shit about the Supra. That's really all it is. The LC500 - is fawking awesome. Toyota cares about he LC500 and it shows. I'd much much rather have the LC500.
