I have a spider living in my 4runner
The wife and I went to leave today and we found a full spider web was built in the passenger floor from the seat to the door. I am not really sure what to do. She wants me to use Raid but I'm not to keen on filling the truck with Raid. Any other ideas?

On the bright side, it's probably not a camel spider, so there's that.

Mr insurance guy, it started on a bright sunny day.....
I think tomorrow is serious vacuum day. I went back in and there was no restart of a web. Maybe the heat affected it. I will probably spritz some Raid under the seat.

Nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

I basically did a combo of 90 PSI air compressor into every crevice, vent, gap, and underseat area; followed by vacuuming; followed by simultaneously cooking the interior on high heat while driving 80 mph down the freeway and alternating putting down various windows to use the negative pressure to suck out hidden particles - and spiders. Worked for me.

Just let the spider live in the 4runner, you will never have to worry about any other bugs in your ride!!

If it makes you feel any better my brother recently bought an almost new used car from a dealer that just so happened to have some sort of pest infestation… either small cockroach or bed bug looking things.
Personally the spider seems like a welcome addition when you contrast the two.
That said, I don’t think I would Raid my car… last few times I had some sort of spider living inside, it just seemed to work itself out over time. That or you can release something else inside the car to eat it… here is a list of suggestions.

Lol
"Swipter's 4runner is in actual fire"
"Swipter tries to claim insurance."\
"His rep finds this thread and thinks he is committing insurance fraud."
On a side note I wouldn't use raid. you will have to inhale fumes. I would just try to find said spider and kill it. If it is just one spider that shouldn't be too bad.
