Post Wheel options from Relations Race Wheels (Intro post)

Hey guys, Michael here from Relations Race Wheels. Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself and our company. We specialize in durable offroad-capable wheels with sleek styling and strong load ratings. We’ve also started an offroad armor line, which the 4runner community is included in as well.

RR4-V 17X9 (6X5.5 | 6X139.7) HUB-CENTRIC | TOYOTA SPEC

As far as wheels go, we’ve been known for the Toyota-spec wheels we’ve put out for a while now, and we’re always selling out and restocking. It’s a constant balance. We offer multiple designs, all available in both smooth-lip designs and beadlock-style designs. The wheels have high load ratings ranging from 2100 to 2500lb, which is rated for a full-sized truck. Our tough inner-lip design gives it impact resistance and strength to withstand all the gear you can load your rig up with, as well as all the ‘oops’ moments we might encounter on the trails. The wheels we have are sometimes on sale before we get the container in, so you could get them for deep discounts if you’re willing to wait a few weeks to get the wheels. The RR4-V sale is live now, expected to ship in late-July.

RR5-S 17X8.5 (6X5.5 | 6X139.7) HUB-CENTRIC | TOYOTA SPEC

We’ve also got a line of armor set up to release soon, including rock sliders and other armor in the works. This’ll be an affordable option for those who want to armor up the rigs they’ve built, but don’t want to dish out too much cash. Save the extra cash for the adventures you’re building the rig to take on. We’ll be posting some of our research and development on here as well, so the community can help us make the perfect products for the rigs. After all, the owners of these rigs know what they need best.

RR5-S 17X8.5 (6X5.5 | 6X139.7) HUB-CENTRIC | TOYOTA SPEC

Along with wheels and armor, we’ve expanded into leathers as well, so we’ve got affordable and durable replacements for those dirty cloth seats your rig probably has. These are high quality Cloud9 synthetic leather that we’ve developed to be the perfect solution for those who use their truck for work, have messy kids, messy pets, or just want the easier, cleaner, and luxurious solution for upgrading their interior. They don’t heat up in the summer, they don’t freeze in the winter, and they clean up without the use of harsh chemicals. Just grab a rag, and wipe it off. No matter the mess. These are also available for presale right now, at a nice chunky discount from the regular price.

Note: These are Tacoma seat covers, but 4runner covers are on their way.

I hope we’ll be working together as a community to develop new products that we’ll all take advantage of without breaking the bank, and look good doing it. I’ll be active here, helping out where I can and where you need me. If you’ve got any questions, any concerns, anything at all, feel free to message me on here, or shoot me an email at [email protected] and I’ll get back to you as soon as I get a chance.

Hi Michael,

Great to see you on the forums. Not that you would remember with the thousands of people that weekend, but I had a chance to meet and chat with you at the RRW booth a few weeks ago during Overland Expo. My buddy with a 2002 QX4 was asking you about wheels and backspacing.

Just an FYI to other forum members RRW has great looking, quality rims from what I was able to see first hand. They also had some great looking Toyotas at the booth too.

No inventory (2 wheels in stock of multiple styles), and most of the stuff on the site is "open box" 1 in inventory.

What is also confusing is the fake beadlock wheels show both fake beadlock, and non beadlock wheels in the picture examples.

I clicked on the RR5-S gray/black 17" fake beadlock wheels, and the pictures show both variations of the wheel, in both colors.

Nothing about any description tells you what wheel you may be buying, it just lists the color and size.

$200 a piece is a good price for a Chinese made cast wheel, but get that website squared away...

Hey there man, I remember you! I'm the owner of the orange at our booth haha. I believe you were talking to my colleague Ray. Glad to hear you love our wheels!

Hey there,

Not sure where you saw the listing with both variations pictured under one listing, I've gone through them now and don't see that anywhere.

We offer almost all of our designs in both beadlock-style "V" models, and smooth lip "S" models. That gives the community a choice between the two looks, as everyone's preference is different. So the RR2-V would be the beadlock style, and RR2-S would be the regular style. The pictures on the listing are the wheels you would be getting.

We are pretty low on inventory right now, we sold way more than expected at the Overland Expo last month, and are working on a restock now. As of now, I believe we've got a bunch of the bronze choices in stock but are out of the other ones. We added open box deals for those who wanted to get a spare tire without paying the full price.

They're cast wheels, with a thick inner-lip design made to have load ratings up to 2500lb, which is the rating for a full-sized truck. We designed them to be durable and withstand the trauma that sometimes may occur when offroading on rough trails.

RR5-V

Click on that wheel, look at the pictures. You show both variations of wheels in all three colors under the V designation.

How are customers supposed to know what a V or an S means in a generic part number?

The V-line is the bolted line, and the S-line is the smooth line. That's just the way they're categorized, just like how you know the 4runner is the SUV that Toyota makes, and the Tacoma is the pickup they make. It's the name we chose for those styles.

They are normally all available in three color options, but as of right now I believe we've only got the RR2-V in bronze available.

We do have a pre-sale on the RR4-V right now, available in three offsets (0, -12, -25) and three finishes (Bronze, Black, Gunmetal). That's one of our most popular options for the Toyota community.

In our next restock, we'll likely have most of the other options available again, in both bolted(V) and smooth(S) options.

I see that you fixed this issue now, so that's good.

I like the RR5-S wheels, and may order a set in Gray or Bronze when they are in stock....still a little undecided on wheels at the moment, but the $200 price tag means I can buy 5 of them for the price of 4 of almost all other wheels.

Will you have pre-sale pricing for the restock of the RR5's?

Michael, do you have any weights for your wheels? Specifically, the zero offset RR4 and RR5?
