And what prevents to ride on the road. I just drive along the roads and would like to escape from these concrete horrors;)

I'm at 20 K on my wildpeaks,, love these tires. rotate at every 5k with no signs of wear or balance issues. minimum weighs needed. great in rain, snow, sand and dirt. would defiantly buy again. I'm running stock size, slightly louder then the factory crap tires it came with . no mpg loss.

I put over 50,000 miles on a set of 265/70R17E with a few thousand miles of offroading on them. Sold them for $400 with over half the tread still left on them & bought another set just bigger.

Looking to buy some Wildpeak A/T3W and was wondering which people here might get in 285/70R17?

117T

or

121/118S

Running them in 285/75/17 and use them heavily offroad. These tires are a good all around performer, and I expect they treat me well

Well, I was right, but only just. I got exactly, 28,995 miles from my Wildpeaks. Tread was worn down to the bars and failed inspection.
That's the first and last time I'm buying Falkens.

Are these the current design or the previous design AT3W's? I had a set with the old tread style and was very disappointed in the mileage I got out of them (close to the same mileage but that was on a 275/60R20 mounted on a 2009 Silverado).

I ordered a set recently for my 4R, hoping they last longer. I went E load instead of P load, and the tread seems much different - we shall see.

Current design. I don't know much about the compounds used in P vs LT but perhaps does does make a difference? But either way, these have been the shortest lasting tires I've ever had.

So you will get between 30 and 65k on a set. Well that settles it!

Got the wildpeaks 30K miles ago, still have 50%+ thread left, they did get a tad louder though. Best performing wet/snow tires I've ever had.

I've read a few complaints about the longevity of these tires.

I had the lt e wildpeaks for 16k miles and only wore it down 2/32s. Had about 2k miles offroad with them. Definitely felt like i could get them to 50k no problems

The Pmetric ATW3's have a silica component to the compound that the LT do not. It is supposed to increase treadlife, but that might be a function of how close they run to their load rating (not pressure rating).
