TOYOTA THEMSELVES AND EVERY PAINT MANUFACTURER ACKNOWLEDGES PAINT CODE "040 - SUPER WHITE" IS A SINGLE STAGE PAINT FROM TOYOTA.
While this may have changed in 2015 ( I can't verify that right now) - Every paint manufacturer recommends Clear Coat paint for repairs on 040. I have been in the collision repair industry since 2002, and every single 040 Super White Toyota I have fixed, from Camry's to 4Runners to Tacoma's and Corolla's has been repaired using Clearcoat Paint. A Toyota Certified Body shop honestly mean JACK. I have personally seen work from the local "Certified" Toyota body shop attached to the dealer, and it was sub-par at best, and criminal at worst. Straight up missed damages and poor repair/paint work.
Find a shop and ask to see something they JUST PAINTED, before it gets buffed. A real shop will barely have to buff anything. I worked at a Ford Dealer for 2 years, and my Head Painter did all of the buffing, except he never had to buff anything. Buffing just hides poor paint work, and removes clearcoat that protects the paint.
I will say that Toyota OEM parts are far superior to any aftermarket parts out there for body repairs. But don't fall for the "Toyota Certified" body shop BS, find a clean shop, with a good painter.

At the risk of going a bit off-topic here, there is one situation where it is always wise to go with the dealer's bodyshop - regardless of quality - is when the car is a lease.
One little known advantage of leases is that accidents don't reduce the value of your trade if it was properly repaired. If you use the dealer's bodyshop, then they can't complain about the quality of the repair.
When my sister had her RL lease, she was at the dealer one day for a service and had a scrape on her bumper. The dealer said "we can fix that for $300" and she said OK. The repair was so-so and on lease turn they said "we'll have to charge you for that less than perfect repair". She pulled out her receipt from them and they said "Oh, I guess that is fine then."
