Hopefully they the don't come with a bad vibration and the radio works longer than 2 months.

4runners have gotten so costly. I am running a 2012 GX 460 I got for $21,000 with 85,000 miles new trucks just do not make sense.

New 4runners make sense from the perspective that if one ever decided to part with theirs, well kept of course, the resale value would almost be like you never paid for it. Hopefully that never changes.

SHHHH!! We don't acknowledge Toyota's shortcomings here! Your next post best be bashing a Jeep/FCA product to ensure you stay in the good graces of the forum!
On a serious note... you'd think for $50K+ the Pro would at least include real leather seats.

The SR5 Premium has been priced at $40,335, $2,100 more than it did before. The TRD Off Road and Off Road Premium are rising $1,280 and $2,100, respectively.
At the top of the range, the TRD Pro has been priced from $50,885 with destination, a price increase of $2,975 compared to the previous year's sticker price of $47,910. That will make it the most expensive 4Runner you can buy, even pricier than the Limited Nightshade Edition ($49,780 for the 4x4).
You get some additional features -safety sense etc but anyone else surprised, especially since last years price increase on the TRD Pro??

It's not at all surprising. If these more correctly reflect what people are actually paying for these, then it makes sense to price them accordingly. We've all seen stickers from dealers who marked up the Pro $10,000 or more above MSRP, but then eventually someone buys it. And many who get a Pro are glad to buy it at MSRP. It's not rocket science.

I'd really like to have the ventilated seats in the Pro... Love them in my wife's LE.

Gross. I currently have a rental '19 Corolla while my 4R is getting hail damage repaired and the safety sense is already dated. I had a 2016 Golf R, and their driver's assistance package back then was more advanced and intuitive than Toyota's.
My original plan was to keep the 04 for the remainder of the 5th gen and save some money while I'm taking flight lessons, but now I'm wondering if waiting for the 6th gen is the best idea. A $50k 4Runner is a bit much, and then of course I'll want a lift and a few other niceties.

Are you doing flight lessons for fun or for a job?

No questions... I used to fly a lot but haven't done that in about a decade. I'm scared to ask how much it costs per hour now, but I'd guess it's between $150 and $200. Have fun and fly safe.

I'd rather not have the upgrades. Glad I bought in 2017. Just had to replace a windshield on my 2016 Passat SEL. Has all the new tech. Cost $1300! And 4 hours for them to calibrate the camera. No thanks. I'll keep my old tech.
And for the price increase, why not? Dealers have been marking up these prices for years. Now toyota directly sees this money and the dealers dont have much room to add 5-10k on there. 65k for a Pro after market adjustment? , LOL
