ONLY two things i envy in Sequoia: roominess and 2wd mode on its 4wd system.

Other than that, the ride is forgettable, not as quiet as price suggest, and cheap interior parts.

Yep. There's a good example of supply and demand affecting prices. I know which of the two I'd rather have.

Hard pass.

Maybe they can stop wasting time tinkering with things that don’t need a Pro package and start marketing the Land Cruiser properly so it doesn’t go away in 2022 as others have mentioned.

Seriously. Who the hell asked for or wanted a TRD Pro Sequoia? Nobody!!! They're just milking whatever market cache "TRD Pro" has at this point. Time for Toyota to get serious about their off-road market or just get out completely.

^^^ for sure! Just look at the silly Rav 4. My wife has a Ford Edge and I’d guess that the capabilities will be similar...which is to say not something I’d take “off road” beyond a mild and well-worn trail. They are probably marketing it toward hipsters who can take selfies of their Rav 4 in front of tents at commercial campgrounds to make it look like they are overland warriors.

If I had 5 kids and a boat sure but I better work at Gulf States distributor owned by Friedkin for that mad employee discount.

If I had 5 kids and a boat, id be hemorrhaging money so fast I wouldn’t be worried about a Pro package on a Sequoia.

Not really. When was the last time you saw a 2nd gen Sequoia on any type of trail? I've seen one on Imogene Pass and that was it. The other TRD Pro's are at least based on a vehicles (4R, Taco, Tundra) that has somewhat of an off-road following. Sequoia's are good for hauling people and taking you to state park campgrounds, that's about it. Otherwise it's sheer size, IRS and lack of any type of aftermarket support is prohibitive.
