hopefully with factory OEM crossbars still on
Hoping that the drop in basket will rest on top of the factory OEM crossbars for the rack...

Thank you for the proposal, all of our manufacturing process at this point is geared at manufacturing durable steel products, if you are worried about rust we changed powder coating suppliers almost 3 years ago and they have done a superb job.

Sergio,
Just curious, what is the return policy? I'm interested... just wondering about the wind noise... Have you guys tested the basket at highway speeds 65-75mph?
Also, please post some pictures of the basket out of the OEM rack.
Do OEM crossbars stay in place, or must they be removed to add the drop in basket?
thanks,
J

Hello J, Yes we have tested the rack at highway speeds and there's no additional noise. The OEM crossbars need to be removed in order to install this rack.
In regards to the return policy if you are not satisfied with the rack we will return your funds except for shipping.
We will upload several individual pictures tomorrow.

Here's a criticism...
The curved top bar that sticks up over the top of the Pro roof rails looks weird. Why does that need to be rounded?

2020 TRD Pro Factory Basket
Just picked up my new army green trd pro with factory basket yesterday!
I'm having a difficult time finding any specifications / weight tolerances, etc for the factory roof basket so that I can better research my options.
does anyone have information they can share?
Thanks!

cundimg , to our knowledge we are the only ones making a basket for this rack, we are very familiar with Toyota's factory rack, our best seller rack for a few years was the FJ basket that fits inside the factory rack, the factory rack system is rated at 110 lb , since we use steel brackets and we mount to the upper tube our rating is at 200 lb.

I'm pretty sure it's in the manual, and it's stamped on the OEM rack... i think both rear points have a max weight stamped in the plastic...
