On vacation in Patagonia Chile

We arrived yesterday in Punta Arenas Chile and had a car reserved for rental. The guy behind the counter said IF You're going into Torres del Paine National Park you should have a truck. HE UPGRADED me to a Hilux 4x4 Diesel! I've been driving this truck now for 2 days and I've fallen in love! It's not a hot rod, but man, is it good on gas! It's a 6 sped Diesel crew cab with a short box-- a simple basic truck- it even has a roll cage! Why doesn't Toyota sell these in N. America?

A post like this and no pix!????

So, we started Punta Arenas, Chile and drove up to Puerto Natales. We stayed here 5 days and explored Torres del Paine National Park and the surrounding area. Wow!
We then took a bus across the border into Argentina to El Calafate and drove to El Chalten and entered the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares and spent a few days exploring the Park and area--- This is an area that is impossible to express in words how stunningly beautiful this area is!
From El Chalten we returned to El Calafate and re-entered the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares and took in the STUNNING Perito Moreno Glacier! Patagonia Is such a vast and incredibly beautiful area-- you could spend months taking it in! We want to return someday and visit Northern Patagonia--- an area we unfortunately missed!
