I don't like the custom fit floor liners personally. Oem all weather mats are my go to. For the 5th gens they even have Oem full liners available that are great. Make weather tech and husky look like cheap knockoffs.

Me too. I tried Weathertechs on my 3rd Gen and did not like them. They did not fit correctly and seemed like cheap plastic for a whole lot of money. I sent them back for a refund.

When I bought my 5th Gen the OEM all weather floor liners and cargo mat came with the deal. They fit well and work great for me for dirt and sand. Although I have not tried them in the snow I suspect they will work just fine.

I'm really happy with my all weather floor mats. They look great and have a precise fit PT908-89000-02 - Genuine Toyota Parts

I'm sure you like them, but since you live in So. Cal, are you really experiencing ALL weather? Those look like flat mats, without sides that help contain snow/slush during the winter months.

It depends where you go in California in the winter.
The Toyota all weather rubber mats are milder than Huskies, but they work just fine in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Besides, I believe the OP is concerned with capturing dirt and debris and lives in No Carolina. Not exactly the snowbelt.

Speaking of which, OP hasn't logged in since the minute this topic was created.
I'm wondering if "she" is one of these newer bots that seem more human-like.

I've had both and Husky is superior to Weathertech. The Weathertech front liners don't go up high enough on the dead pedal. The result is that any snow and slush on your left boot melts and drips down under the mat onto the carpet. I find the Husky cargo liner better too.

I switched to Husky after having the OEM all weather mats that were included when I bought the truck. The OEM's did not have high enough walls and also did not like how exposed the carpet was under the gas pedal. I can't speak for the Weathertechs. And I'm sure does offer more protection than the OEM's as well. But the Husky's came out cheaper for me. Although, I do admit that the rubber material on the OEM did feel and look a lot better.

I bought Weathertech's for our T4R, and wish I had read this post before I got them. Oh well, Dumb too early, Smart too late.

I have had WeatherTech mats in my last 3 vehicles, they have always had a good fit. They do a great job of keeping the floor clean but I am really disappointed with the overall quality and material of the mat. They are a very hard plastic that feels cheap. They are also hard to keep clean and looking new. I'm ready to try something else.

the barrier around the Husky floor mats seems higher than weathertech.

I use weathertech and they work good enough for me.

I personally like my factory all weather floor mats, and I purchased the canvasback rear cargo cover

So glad I'm reading this now as I was considering Weather Techs for my 4Runner for awhile...they do seem to be a bit overpriced.

I went with the OEM mats and love them! There isnít much (any) snow in SoCal, but I think the ď4RunnerĒ logo is the tits and besides it matches the color of my CoverKing seat covers perfectly. Going to switch to WeatherTech or Husky when I move to Michigan next gear.
