Help me identify this setup!

I was looking to buy a used 5th gen for a long time. My price range was usually 2010 - 2013 era, and I was planning on a regular SR5 to upgrade over time.

Then I saw this deal I couldn't pass up so I jumped on it. The dealership didn't realize what they were selling. They told me it was stock with no upgrades. They were way wrong, and I got a smokin' deal because they posted their price without realizing any of that.

So now I have to ask for help because I don't know exactly what the upgrades are. I'm hoping some of you will be able to identify them from pictures.

1. The suspension says Icon, but I don't know what the set is or how high the lift is. How do I tell?

2. They said that it didn't have KDSS, but I looked online for what KDSS is supposed to look like, and I think I have it. Can anybody tell from the pictures?

3. Are the steps/bars along the side considered sliders, or are these just for aesthetics?

4. Exhaust line (?) looks rusty, but that's it. Everything else underneath was just dirty/dusty. Is it normal for one thing to rust like that?

Thanks for any help!

You can measure the fender to center of hubcap to determine lift height. I think stock is around 19. For kdss, you can tell you have it by looking at the sway bar from the driver side. Should be a boot connected to the bar. Youtube has videos on this.

The bars are just steps and not sliders

That's the fixed link side of KDSS. You have it.

That icon package is the "icon stage 2" I believe. Stage 2 includes aftermarket upper control arms. Your UCAs also have their delta joint, which is a nice upgrade. There's no fittings for remote reservoirs that I see on the coilovers or rear shocks.

There are probably aftermarket 2" rear springs on the back to match the amount of preload shown on those coilovers. It's probably a ~2.5"-3" lift in the front. Kinda hard to tell from preload alone

Listed as $2700 on Icon's website. Check out the specs:

Looks like a good purchase on your behalf! Welcome aboard.

It's normal for the exhaust to have some surface rust. It gets hot, so there's no coating, and you can't put oil or rust paint on it. I look right past that when looking at the undercarriage of a vehicle. Given the amount of rust on the exhaust, it's a good assumption that the vehicle has been washed and cared for throughout the winter if the frame, axles and suspension parts are void of rust.

From the lack of scrapes on the gas tank skid, and the lack of dents and dings on the muffler, it looks like this hasn't seen much offroading at all.

The frame rails look fantastic

$30,700 + title and tax (haven't paid those yet, since I purchased out of my state). Vehicle has 50,000 miles on it, which is a lot for 2 years, but sounds like it was mostly freeway driving - really long commute. Isn't that insane?

Nevermind read your sig.

Looks like they priced it as a regular SR5 and came with mods.

I only have a couple I took in my driveway. Not too glamorous, but here you go!

Really happy with it so far. Just need to do some adjustments because of tire rubbing in one spot.
