Welding Helmet Considerations

Just purchased the Hobart 210 MVP for what seems a pretty good price at $804. I'm getting accessories now, including safety items like a helmet. The features and tech have changed quite a bit in 30 years, the last time I welded!

Any recommendations, must haves, felt to be unnecessary bells & whistles, etc?

I reached-out to the guy who made my sliders and he directed me to this, and at a very reasonable price ($107):

Thanks much.

I've got a Hobart handler 140 that I mess around with, bought this helmet because I wanted one with a larger viewing area and it's got all the feature I need.

If I were welding a lot more I'd probably spend the $$ on a higher-end Lincoln but I don't really have a need and this one works just fine for my purposes..don't know how much welding you do, but for the casual welder the helmet you're looking at seems like a good option.

I've got a Miller classic series helmet, works fine for me.

I'm not a pro, just a hobbyist.
