Where my engineers at?
Hey-oh! I'm new to the T4R community and was wondering how many of my fellow engineers are out there. I've worked in the aerospace industry for 15+ years, mostly in research and development. Before that, I worked with semiconductors and computers (with a brief detour into IT).
Anyway, I'd like to hear from you.

EE here (been in the defense industry for about 9 years).
I look forward to the day of when I quit being an engineer as an occupation.

EE/ME/Physics here
Coolest achievement was back in college building a plasma reactor from the ground up for water treatment purposes.
Although, as much as I enjoy Solidworks and CAD, it doesn't compare with the 'Runner and the outdoors! haha

Now that does sound cool. I spent my years in college studying the Brownian motion of distilled spirits.

That's a major reason why I think engineering as an occupation isn't great.
College tends to be the most interesting time of your career.

Biomedical Engineer, here. Currently a technical instructor for a physiological patient monitor manufacturer, although much of my career was spent in IT. Go figure.
