What would a reasonable price be to professionally install an OEM Audio set up?

My Christmas present to myself. Super excited to get this system in!!

Its a sub, and all speakers, and an under the seat amp.
4runner - OEM Audio Plus

What would a fair price be to professionally install it? Its been over a decade since i had a stereo install, and while I think I can do it myself, if the price makes sense i might have a professionally save me the time. I have no garage either. :-(

I think you can DIY.

If you have done it before you can do it again. Good thing about audio is if you not done you can still drive it.

I got a quote from experienced installers for $450. At first i was thinking NO WAY....

....but then I watched the provided OEM video install (which is very good).

Although that convinced me I could do it myself, once I figured in 3-4 hours labor, running the wires, taking off the head unit, all 4 door panels, and installing the amp underneath the seat...AND running the wires underneath the hood and attaching them to the battery in a professional manner (i have experience here installing ditch lights) I was like ok.....

Take my $450 please. ;-)

However, I say this as an older person with the funds to spare and little time. If you are younger, Id tell you like my kids - learn something, install it yourself, and feel proud of the accomplishment.

Anyway, now i am rocking and (per my post after this one) this system is AMAZING.

I do a lot of vehicle electrical work, if you do it with care it is pretty time consuming. My initial reaction to $450 was that is a good deal / very fair price in your favor.

As a ~older guy~ i just replaced all 4 speakers in the 4runner in a days time. I find this kind of thing kind of fun and am impressed with the results. The key is replacing the OE equipment is sticking with that which is straight forward like using drop in after market parts so there isnt any fabrication - guess work needed. I did have a pro install my HU so that the steering wheel controls and dual antennas were retained and also b/c i couldnt do it myself due to space or skills. There are some great, and legit you tube videos that layout the speaker replacement process...

i WAS quoted about $100 to install a back up camera and a head unit. I found that to be cheap but hey its south florida.
