It's clear to see here that the majority of these wrecks have SFA's

I would like to do a SFA conversions on my 5th gen so I can have even more steering wheel wobble and front end shimmy than it does now. I am pretty sure that all my 4R needs is DW like a Wrangler and it will be great.

Yep, and every single one of them was a direct result of running an SFA...

I think its weird that people get all confused when something that has been engineered for heavy off road use isn't the optimal highway cruiser and commuter and act like it's some kind of design flaw.

Next thing you'll tell me that a deep hull boat meant for the ocean sucks for piddling around in the shallows to catch bass.

99% of the people whining about 0-60 times or behavior under aggressive handling would probably be better served with one of the many crossovers or cars on the market.

There was lots of speculation that the JK would be the last SFA Jeep but that didn't happen. It would be cost-prohibitive, but making two Wranglers, a four-door IFS for the mall-crawler soccer-mom broheems out there (95% of Jeep users) and a 2 door SFA for people who really need it. I don't hate Jeeps, in fact I really like them. Our 2004 was super reliable (until my wife rolled it) and my 97 was a money pit but really fun to wheel. I just think Ford made a very sound decision on IFS for the Bronco, and Jeep would have eliminated at least half of their recalls and complaints had they done so with the JL.
