I am into obd2 scanners now. After knowing on an article how good to have a tool like this especially when something came up, no need to asked for a mechanic if you can check it yourself. Read this Best OBD2 Scanner 2020(Beginner to Advanced Scanners List), to be able to know which brand fits your needs.

Justin Bieber likes chrome too

I'm not a fan myself, but I don't like black wheels or emblems either. Give me a natural metal color any day of the week.

Nowadays, chrome looks cheap on vehicles compared to other finishes. Nothing chrome is actual metal anymore, aside from steel wheels. To me it's right up there with non-functional hood scoops and 3m stick on taped "accessories" in terms of gaudiness.
The thing I hate most about my rig currently is the chrome crap and faux bead-locks on the wheels.

But that's just my opinion, beauty is in the eye of the... "you know the thing man!"

I like the old saying chrome don’t get you home. But I do like a bit of flash, or at least some alloy. Never liked the stealth blackout look on cars like the Buick Grand national. But I don’t like too much chrome either. I’ve never been one to spend bucks for bling either.. trends are short lived, bucks for trends are even shorter lived.

I'm mostly just a chrome wheel guy and that's about it. I like the color matched look of most everything else, but again to each their own. If my wife's T4R saw anything more than a Starbucks parking lot there's no way I would have a chrome plated wheel on there though.

Yes, all fashion is a balance of trends/norms/preferences. Do your thing OP, and although I have definitely seen a few take it too far, if it doesn't hurt your 4R then enjoy yourself.

I appreciate the nostalgia in this thread. Takes me back to the early 1990’s, when you can clean your chrome wheels with a shelf duster. The reflection bouncing off a freeway divider was magical; it never fades.

Nowadays, any chrome on super white gives me Cadillac vibes, short of white walls and leather tops.
