Yes people are getting sick. Yes it’s really an unfortunate situation.
However reality doesn’t seem to match the doom and gloom shills.
Case in point, Pelosi’s political stunt to kill the $1T+ coronavirus aid package. If the situation was that dire she wouldn’t dare such a thing, or there would be mutiny against her. Instead, crickets except hey stocks are crashing again.

I think Social distancing does work. I've been practicing it for years. Anyone appears sick, stay away from them (even the wife - no kisses, if really sick no hugs. Same for kids, parents, grandparents, etc...). Don't touch publicly shared surfaces then grab food and put it in your mouth (although I slip on this one when it comes to ketchup bottles and french fries). Wash your hands. Cover up sneezes/coughs (and turn away from others in the vicinity). More often than not, I get through cold and flu season without getting sick. Coincidental? I dunno, but being a mild germophobe seems to work for me.

Definitely works for all the usual suspects like common colds and flus.
The challenge with the new virus per smart people is that it lays dormant for 1+ weeks so it can be difficult to tell if someone is contagious or not.

Correct. We just need to expand the social distancing that Jernik exercises to everyone for several weeks and this will slow the spread.

Have you read the package or just reading headlines? The aid does barely anything to lower income and laid off citizens and gives ANONYMOUS bailout packages to corporations. Kill? No, revise to help the working class yes.

Among other items, Pelosi's 1400+ page proposal includes:
- extension of nonimmigrant visas (for permanent residents?)
- student loan relief
- tighter emissions standards for airlines
- same day voter registration
- enhancing union collective bargaining power
- bailout for the post office
- requirements for corporate racial diversity data reporting
- abortion money for Planned Parenthood
Good concepts that will save lives /s

By the time our "leaders" agree to a terrible bill this whole thing will be over and the money will come in way too late.
Plus... Ahem... Who is going to pay this? Eh, let's just kick the can down the road again and make it the next person's issue... Not saying to NOT do it, but creating $1,000,000,000,000 in a system that is already higher than that negative doesn't seem like the best move. But I'll take more fake money. Not like the amount I would get would even equal one monthly mortgage payment here in northern CA.
