My 5 year old thinks it is the absolute coolest thing ever, next to her grandmother’s hard top convertible M3.

I like being able to roll it down and poke my skeeter yeeter out for target practice when its cold or hot out. Just turn on the AC and plink in comfort.

Feels great to open the sunroof & put the rear window down 6”-8” when I’m leaving for work at 5am on a disgustingly humid summer morning here in Georgia. Useful tip: tapping the up or down side of the dash switch moves the window incrementally.

And there are the times you spend hours at Lowe’s buying everything needed to install 400 square feet of beadboard ceiling & molding.

THIS!

Have used it during remodeling countless times to bring long crap back and forth; extremely useful.

It's nice in the 4Runner but try it in a Tundra, it's glorious;it's also particularly upsetting to the Ford simps with their porthole rear windows.

As some others have pointed out- nice for longer items, dogs, quicker/easier access to cargo area without opening hatch. On a nice day with all the windows and roof open it's nice to roll that back window down and really open it all up. Also just another spot in the vehicle to crack slightly and let hot air/odors escape. For me, it's just one of those features that, once having, is hard to not have- even if I don't use it all the time. Yes, being able to control the rear window from the key fob would be great!!

That's his point playa

You can use the window to access the back since you can't open the hatch

Pay attention

Precisely his point... if something is blocking the rear hatch, you still have the window for access.

Edit: @MeefZah you beat me to it.

[QUOTE=MeefZah;3522235]Every time I drive anywhere I have all 5 windows down (except on dirt, as noted in other posts). Love me some fresh air.

and accessing ceiling mounted long gun

What kind of mount is that you have for your ceiling mounted shotgun?

Big Sky Rack SBR-1

About $100 +/- at Cabelas and similar

Highly recommended. Great for camping in the back. Solid as a rock. Mounted to the bolt holes for the coat hooks. Got one in both trucks.

There's a thread on them somewhere in general discussion.

Yeah, that looks good, secure and solid looking, thank you. Nice Polezei patch too.

Imagine if the 4Runner had a panoramic moonroof along with that roll down rear window, now that would be the shit.

Edit: moonroof not sunroof

Not in AZ. It would be like a bug under a magnifying glass outside.

Panoramic sunroof? Like the Olds Vista Cruiser?
Oh yeah!
