That would be interesting but I was thinking more of the sliding panoramic moonroof with electric sliding sun shade (good for Arizona residents).

I look at sunroof as another potential source of a leak.
Salesman pointed out a few 4runners with a sunroof. Asked how much he was knocking off the price for a truck with sn unneccessary hole in it.
As one might deduct, I am not a proponent of a sunroof. If you want one, that's fine with me.

Good for hauling longer things. But sliced bread is pretty amazing, so its a toss-up.

Maybe it’s been mentioned but there’s also the added convenience when my bike rack is on. It tilts down but there’s usually no need to open the hatch with a roll-down window.

In my gen 2 I find it to be a hassle to have to roll it down just to drop the tailgate. My dog loves it down and it is useful for larger items. But, the motor is another thing to breaks and then the back gate is stuck shut.

Huge selling point for me. Yes, it has it's drawbacks, but I use it a lot and it's benefits outweigh it's issues. Even little stuff like being able to check on your dogs while you're pumping gas is cool.

No remote, but I do appreciate that I can roll it down outside by turning and holding the key in the hatch to roll it down and back up.

It's also been helpful during the pandemic to roll the window down for store employees to load pickup orders at Walmart and Aldi.

Super nice in town with the sunroof open.
Didn't GM use to do this in the 70s ?
I had verts, this is the closest you'll ever get to one like this.

You quoted the wrong person, it was @Bluesky 07 that was doing the beadboard ceiling.

picked up lumber from Austin Hardwoods this past Saturday. Many board feet of poplar for face frames sticking out that back window and a few sheets of baltic birch went up on the LFD rack on the top.

The airflow with the rear window and the sunroof is perfect...when it's not 100 degrees and AQI is 180. Thanks California
