I took it to toyota dealerships for diagnostic, bad cat $3000 almost $4000 How are used prices in your area?. Took the car home removed cat and 2 o2 sensors up and down strim is doing the same. New tps same problem. Clean throttlebody No changes at all. Maf sensor clean. Coil pack, cables and spark plugs good. No check engine light no codes. Timing belt water pump done at 90k. I don’t know what to do should I risked and buy it from him or back out. In my research it can be several things.

have you checked the fuel pump? sometimes when it is old it clogs and this could lead to what you just described. In my opinion would advise you not to take the risk, you should just back out perhaps you would find a deal somewhere else that will work perfectly. Hope this helps.
