I do a lot of things, motorbikes, 4 wheelers, boats and off road my 4runners, also I hunt and fish but that doesn't preclude me from being concensus about my foot print and do my best to be a steward of this land and leave it so my kids can enjoy it. I believe human activity is changing the climate and the world and that makes me want to do good

You quoted me and went into a tiraid about climate change when I was talking about dollars and now you got the balls to say ,"Making calls? then diffusing it by saying "I am not serious" is pretty low.

Tirade? Nah...
Just trying to educate people who believe what they are told by the tele or whatever.
I gave you some questions, and if you answer them, you will see the truth.

I "argued" with the best of them...
Hence why I left the field. I could not live a lie for $$$$$.

It's all about money. Ask China and India why they don't have to comply.

I am not talking about spilling oil and other crap into the Earth and water...
But you really have no idea what all you would need to give up in your goal to end oil.

Your asphalt roads are a BYPRODUCT of oil.
I guess we throw all the unused stuff into landfills? Maybe the ocean?

Carbon will always be recycled.

One decent meteor impact or volcano burp, and you won't have to worry anymore.

And the burnout... Your poor children. Did you not think about their lungs?

EVs are the future whether one wants to admit that or not. That being said, I'll keep my Runner until it can't pass PA inspection. Never cared for MPG because if I did, I wouldn't have bought the 4Runner in the first place.

Sad to see people still not educated about climate change. Here's a good place to start:

Polluting this thread? Not like your avatar, right?
My children have to breathe in what you did there because it was
"cool", right?

FUEL prices ARE political, no matter how much you want to deny it.
I mean, we fight wars over oil.
Taxes from fuel sales is one way they are going to refill coffers die to the Covid shutdown.
But, you REFUSE to acknowledge yet another FACT.

If you learn FACTS, you will see there is no agenda.
Again, I gave you some questions. And no answers.

But, some people resist facts. I dealt with that a lot because others were not willing to give up their paycheck...

Heaven forbid someone come along and help some people see what is up.
Heaven forbid I reply in a thread started NOT by you because this is one thing I understand more than most here as I used to collect a paycheck to know all of this.
But I could not push a false agenda any longer because I never completely sold my soul by making a career out of it.

Hmmm. That sounds like you think I lean a certain way politically.
I assure you, I don't align to anything you may assume about me.

Try answering my questions above.
Personal knowledge never hurt anyone...
(In some cases it did, but that is why I said "personal" knowledge.

What I know as facts will always surpass your convictions.
You prove it when you won't answer simple 4th grade questions.
Denialism is not a good trait when confronted with facts.

My forerunner is an 87 4 cylinder sr5. So a gallon goes pretty far. Too bad it's not on the road anymore. I think I have to get rid of it.

I will dead before gas prices are an issue economically for me so it won’t be my problem any longer. Not that I am wasteful, but individual driving habits are horrible. Just look at how many people speed regularly regardless of the road type.
