Wrangler Authority Tires at Wally World

I don't see much about these tires online but from some years back. I was at the local Wally World and saw these on the tire rack. The 18/32 of tread caught my eye, they look chunky!

I discovered the 265/70/17 is a C load rating and with install for tires before tax I'd be around $750.

I'm getting quotes over $900 for 4 BFG ko2's in the same size before tax.

Anyone ran them? What did you guys think?

Guess it depends on what you want out of a tire. The E rated versions is very heavy at over 50lbs, that being said I couldn’t find the C rated weight anywhere. It is only found at Walmart and that could be a not so good thing as Walmart has forced Goodyear to make that tire at a certain price point which can cheapen quality. Personally I had bad luck with Goodyear tires but that’s just me.

It’s your money spend it wisely.

They are load range C I was looking at at Walmart. I didn't think Goodyear would make lower quality tires just for Walmart that is interesting. Thanks. I think I'm going with the KO2s.

Buy them, but don’t mount them there.
