4runner vs Jeep

Our 2017 4runner SR5 and 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado were parked nose to nose, so I took a picture.
The Jeep is stock, the 4runner isn't. Lift and larger tires.
I found the comparison interesting and thought I'd share.

Neat! Here's our '98 Grand Cherokee parked next to our new 2016 4Runner at the dealership on the day I bought it. We kept the Grand Cherokee and still have it. Owned it since new and it's been a great vehicle. It's used very little now, so it still looks about the same. I actually like the size of the old Grand Cherokee better for off-road use; the new ones are about the same size as the 4Runner though.

That seems to be one generation of vehicles that Jeep did right. Around here (central Ohio), they’re generally poor cosmetically but keep running.

Bought a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee for my teenage driver. It's prescratched. Has side airbags. She's done all of her driver training with the GC. It does not feel as substantial on the road. It should be lighter considering its a Unibody. the 07' GC Laredo V6 4x4 is about 4500lbs.
