RFI - Albuquerque Shops

I originally posted a similar inquiry in the 5th Gen section, but I think expanding my geography and posting in this section makes more sense.

Looking for a recommendation on a shop to handle minor mods on my 2020 ORP in the Santa Fe/Albuquerque area. Rock sliders, skid plates, maybe front bumper and winch installation. Santa Fe is preferable, but I think ABQ is probably more realistic.

Thanks!

I had my lift on my 5th gen installed at Desert Rat. FourWheelParts will do it, but I found they are EXPENSIVE! Desert Rat gave me the best price. I've also heard that Trucks Unlimited will do clean installs for things like sliders, lights, and what not. Never have used them though. The other forum you should join is the tacoma world forum There is much more of an active Abq presence on there. I know the folks on there are very knowledgable and are willing sometimes to help with installs and such once you develop a relationship with them. There are wheeling trips that they run pretty regularly which is cool too.

Excellent! Thank you! I appreciate the suggestions and will reach out to all. I am especially thankful for the Tacoma World idea!

I spend most of my time in Santa Fe but very willing to make the short hike down to ABQ to get reliable work done!

I second Desert Rat for suspension installation. When I got my Eibach, they were going to install it for the best price I could find anywhere, and sounded like they actually knew what they were talking about. I didn't end up using them, due to it being at the beginning of all the pandemic issues last March and did it myself, but would have been glad to have them do it. I'm not sure where they are on slider/bumper installs, but they would be a good place to check - their labor rates are way more reasonable than anyone else I checked with. You might also contact Accessories Unlimited in Abq. I don't know much about them, but I know they sell bumpers and such, so they must install them...
