IF it does make it to USA, it will be Lexus LX300…and i doubt that thing will cost under $100k. Current LC200 runs around $85k - 88k…LX runs $95-105K. The new LC300 has all the luxury and features of LC200 PLUS axle lockers and newer techs (more advance materials, safety features, and interior tech). The only hope is that by sharing platform with Tundra and Sequoia, then maybe the price will be kept same as current LX??

My guesses: (given same inflation as now)

LC300 (if Toyota brings it over) = $88k

LX300 = $100-105K

My bet is the lx600 will be hybrid only. And start about $125k.

No LC for us is my guess. If they do, they'd need to consider a gxl trim level at around $60k if Toyota wants to be serious about selling that model in the USA.

Just let's get that Sequoia going since (sadly) the LC looks unlikely to get here. The wife is already angling for a Tahoe or Expedition, since we need more room for the toddler. The 4R is just a bit too small now.

I like the look of the LC300 more than the LC200 but think the front & back end could have been designed to look a little better. Maybe trim a little off the rear bumper so it doesn't look as chunky & hang down as low. I'm glad they didn't give the front end that weird predator mouth but wished they gave it a more traditional looking front bumper & grill similar to the 2014-2021 Tundra.

Speaking of 2014-2021 Tundra front ends, one of my favorite designs I've seen someone do on tundras.com was making an xl sequoia with a tundra front end. Just wished sequoias still had solid rear axles. If they did I would probably get one and do the conversion myself but other problem is, to my knowledge, there are no, no sunroof model 2nd gen sequoias. Speaking of not wanting sunroofs...

Would be cool if they eventually offered the LC300 in the U.S in a base model without a sunroof but I realize that would never happen since most people think that 4runners, Tundras, Tacomas, etc are already outdated. It also seems like a lot of people don't like that Toyota has been keeping their generations going on for long periods with minimal changes but I actually like that because it helps with parts availability for people like me that keep cars until something catastrophic happens & the increased reliability that comes with products that have been around without constant upgrades. Part of my bias might be because I work on my own vehicles so I like simplicity. While I'm daydreaming of a base model no sunroof LC300 in the US, a V8 would be cool too. As much as I don't want to own a vehicle with a sunroof, I think a land cruiser would be the only one I would make an exception for.

I could be wrong but I don't remember there being a 2012 LC200 in the U.S? I googled it but didn't see any information confirming its availability in the U.S for 2012. Also, when I search used 2012 land cruisers, I don't think I've ever seen one come up.

Well, the higher cost of a vehicle does not always (and seldom does) translate to better fuel economy.

The new G-wagen gets similar mileage…and it costs a whopping $175k on average.

But at least, it takes regular gas!

Yeah, it ain’t pretty…and that is one of my biggest issue with LC200…the range on a full tank is only 320 miles. Kinda crappy when you’re going far off places with no gas station in sight.

Land Cruiser owners tend to keep their cars a long time: Longest-Lasting Cars to Reach 200,000 Miles and Beyond - iSeeCars.com

I am sure that there was a 2012 model. Toyota even has brochure on it.

If you want to know more about LC200: Land Cruiser 200 Information

LC is made to a different level. I am sure that the new 300 series will be spectacular, even if it shares platform with other siblings.
