i used oem, rotors w/ akebono pads once. pads dies with in a 14 months. was running 285/70/17's slimline bumper, winch and gobi rack; noted for additional weight. I switched to power stop brakes and rotors 2years later and a rear bumper with dual swing arms and I still haven't had to mess with by brakes/ rotors.
I think they might be good for stock, and preformed well, but akebono's went pretty quick for me.
