My Return to T4R with a 2022 TRD ORP

Hello! I see this forum is still goin on! I snagged a 2022 TRD Offroad Premium locally which I should have in hand next week. This is my 3rd 4runner, having a 2008 and a 2004 previously.

What a different market these days, wow.

I've been in a Jeep for a few years so it will be awesome to make this return to my favorite car. And this time I got it the way I wanted it ><

I do have some 4th gen stuff I can sell if anyone is interested?

I had a Jeep Cherokee and the 08 Runner. The runner was at the point of needing major service that exceeded the value of the car (water pump and crank case leaking amongst other things) and the Jeep was just too small for some of my needs so we traded both in for the 4runner and are going to be a 1 car family for awhile. Since we both work from home now, we don't need two cars.

We know Toyota retains value over a non wrangler Jeep. We considered a Bronco for a second but I have a weird car connection with the 4runner versus other cars.

The jeep hasn't been a bad little car. It definitely had minor problems, a few replacements under warranty. Maybe we lucked out with both our previous 4runners but feel it is just a superiorly (word? Lol) built vehicle.

I don't think you can do better for reliability and retaining value with a 4Runner. The new Broncos interested me too in the beginning. Now, not so much.

Agreed. We looked at one today and sat in it. It really felt like an FJ/Wrangler. I liked the interior trim but didn't like how they did the doors nor how upright the windshield was.

Love the look, didn't care for the fit.

Congratulations, I also picked up a 22 OR Premium last week. Traded in my 2015 Nautical Blue TE for another Nautical Blue.

Enjoy!
