I have been gone for 2 years or a little more....I had a 2015 MGM TP and I traded it in for a 2019 Tundra....in August 2019....great truck, was a 1794 4X4 and it ran great, provided me excellent service and reliable as the 4RNR...but I missed my 4RNR very much....
I started looking again about a year ago, but the stupid pricing was holding me back....I saw as much as 5K adjustments...
My son and DIL bought a 2022 SR5 2WD last week and it got me thinking real hard. Three days ago a local dealer (25 miles away) off loaded a 2022 TRD Off Road Premium in classis silver, my favorite color and what I was looking for in 2015...
I went there this past Thursday morning at 8AM and looked at it...I was interested but they had to give me a good deal on the 2019 Tundra trade in...
What they essentially did was give me $2000 more for the Tundra than I paid for it and with MSRP pricing, I worked them off the price adjustment and the deal was essentially a wash...I never paid MSRP in my life for a vehicle...but times are crazy and I wanted another 4RNR....the Tundra had 32K miles and it was in excellent shape
It is home now and I will be looking forward to picking back up where I left off....
Will be updating this post with my initial observations comparing the 2015 and 2022 4RNR's....
