Question on TRD Rims

My 4RNR came with the black TRD rims and Nitto tires....the door jamb sticker says 17 x 7.5", I am almost positive....

Looking at a different color TRD rim but I cant find any dimensions...the rims I am looking at are Toyota part number PTR20-35110-GR

Putting that number in Amazon search and a 17 x 7 rim comes up...

Are all of the 17" TRD rims the same width?

Thanks,

Bronc

TRD pro are 7" wide. TRD off-road are 7.5" wide. the TRD pro replika rims are 8" wide (not relevant but everyone seems to want to know this as well)

Trd pro off road rims are 7inch wide and have a different off set compared to the sr5 or Trd pro. I think the Trd pro off road has +4 offset while the pro and sr5 have +15, the back spacing is the same 4.5. What year is your 4runner. Posting a pic of your rims might help.

I have a 2022 TRD Off Road, not the Pro...my DIL has a new SR5 that she picked up today and really wanted black rims, I really dont like the black rims and wanted gray...so she will get these and I want to make sure I order the right rims from the dealer....for mine

The new rims will go on a 2022 TRD Off Road...

And I assume my black rims will fit on a 2022 SR5 2WD

I just checked the door jamb and the sticker says 17 x 7 1/2" J rims

Rim size should be stamped or cast on the inside of each rim.

As @spartacus mentioned, I have a 2022 TRD Off Road with TRD rims...not sure bout how to post a picture, but they look just like the rims that come on the TRD Pro

As he mentioned, the TRD Off Road is supposed to come with 7" rims....

I guess the bottom line is, there are four different colors of TRD rims available, black like I have, a bronze, a gray and a shinny blue gray color.

Are all of the TRD rims the same width?

My door jamb cleary says 17 x 7 1/2 J rims and the tires are Nitto Grappler 265 x 70 x 17 tires...

I cant see a size on the rims, but cant look too good, as it has been raining here all day and was looking real quick.

One other question, I am not a real tire/rim expert, when you say +4 and +15 offset, what exactlly is that? I assume 4 and 15 mm (1/5" and 5/8" ?) and back space of 4.5? What does that mean

Thanks,

Bronc

I am sure there is a thread going over this somewhere. Here is my generic explanation that might help.
The higher the positive value the closer to the inner wall the tire sits. so +15 will be situated more inside, narrower stance where as +4 will sit further out wider stance ,negative off set is even wider stance. Back space is the measurement from the mounting surface to the back edge, this is important so the wheel doesn't rub on the calipers etc.

All the 17 inch wheels on the 5th Gen 4th Gen and tacomas some landcruisers, rav4s, are interchangeable so don't worry about the sticker 7.5 compared to 7. Infact the 18 inch wheels on the limited will fit as well.
