Yes the Waipoi valley is sweet ride down and up...1st gear low range in my dad's lx470 thevwhole ride down and climb out. Only 4wd vehicles with low range are permitted down the one lane shelf road (with spots for passing). Otherwise u have hike it...at least an hour up.
Beach is awesome...if you go left at the valley floor about a 1/4 mile it opens up to Kakeha falls....its drops about 1700 feet.
These are from yesterday. You have to zoom in the falls, but they are pretty majestic. The falls river actually meets the ocean in the middle of the black sand beach.
Green sands is nice as well...not gonna make it this year, but its a fun ride across the 4wd trail too.
