SLC Utah Rentals? Short Overland Trip Hopefully

Hey all. Long story short the wife and I are flying out to Salt Lake City UT early August. Added 4 days to the trip to try catching all we can. Sadly not going to be bringing any mountain bikes, dirt bikes or similar but would love to be able to find a decent rental to spend 3 days in touring the state. Could try finally visiting MOAB and if possible camp along with way through the arches and anywhere else we can fit in. Not looking to hardcore wheel or do any SXS type stuff just general overland. Any suggestions? Anyone live that way to point me in right direction or know a place that rents something that wont be beat to death/nasty haha. Rooftop tent is find and basics. I am not new to camping/off grid life for a few days, would love to drive our 4Runner out but do not have the time for 3 days out and then 3 more back. I had plans to rent a normal tacoma or whatever from rental car services and drive but then we have to either find a hotel on route, or report back to SLC each night.

Thanks in advance!

Great company. Jeeps, not T4R's :

UT Overland – Camp anywhere a Jeep will go

BaseCamper Overland Vehicle Rentals

Moab, Utah 4x4 Rentals - Trip Ideas | Colorado Overlander

Jeep Rentals | Camper Van Rentals | Rooftop Tents and Gear

At Arches in particular you need a reservation which IMO, is a good thing. I was there in 21 and what a shit show.

So many other places to go and enjoy in the area. A fun and easy but a few dozen water crossings is the Onion Creek area. Lots of dispersed camping out at the end where it connects with Top of the World and other trails.

Also, Moab is a shit show as well this time of year. If you book a hotel in Moab, do so through Expedia. AirBnB left me stranded and I wound up paying $250+ each night on my own. AirBnB said "we don't book hotels, you're on your own" and hung up on me when the Yurts I had booked 7-8 weeks in advance were blown down in a wind storm 2 weeks prior to our arrival. No one, not AirBnB nor the owner called anyone who had reservations.

Best place to eat in Moab is The Garage. Awesome breakfast and coffee. Owners are terrific people.

Thanks for the input. I am going to call BaseCamper as reviews and location is perfect for what I need. Nice 5th gen 4 Runner loaded with all the campign needs. I would like to stay trailside for the 2-3 nights. Might try donig this White Rim Trail perhaps. Take our time doing it and enjoy every spot we can! Hope they have a runner or anything available. Roof Top tent it. I know its going in the worse of summer heat but ehhh plenty of water and well be good.

Any other trails recommended to make a good scenic view out of? Of course in the rental I am not looking to totally test it and do anything to make the trip a nightmare with rig damages.
