Online OEM Parts Source Nowadays?

It’s been a while since I’ve had to order OEM maintenance parts. Just hit 120k miles and the maintenance schedule calls for spark plug replacements. Haven’t had any issues with the OEM plugs so I’d prefer to stick to that if the pricing isn’t too off from aftermarket/rebranded offerings.

Who is the go-to website people are using to order their OEM stuff from that doesn’t kill the savings from shipping?

McGeorge and toyotapartsdeal.com are my go to US-based parts suppliers. They will probably have the highest discount levels. They are both regular Toyota dealers running an online business.

For heavy parts, parts.toyota.com will list several dealers based on your zip code. You can select pickup or free shipping over $75. However, not all dealers offer the same discounts and some dealers offer no discounts. I think out-of-state dealers will not charge sales tax.

Partsouq out of the UAE is the hands down best supplier on price and delivery times. Even with international shipping costs, they come out ahead on many parts. However, I do not know how well supplied they are for the 4Runner because it's not sold worldwide. I use them for my Land Cruiser.

There was mention in a thread (I don't remember which one) about online counterfeit parts. Some were touted as OEM. I think spark plugs was one of them. Since most 4Runner OEM normal maint parts are cheap enough, I'd just go with them and not risk it.

I can confirm Partsouq and Amayama (pretty much the same) are safe suppliers to order anything you need, also offers access complete detailed parts catalogue.

Ebay and Amazon need to be held responsible for being the #1 platform for fake goods! These are my usual go-to but currently, they are not stocked with 4runner OEM parts for some reason

A few parts (T case oil seal & nut) I ordered recently from Amayama had EAC markings on the bags, which I am assuming is legit, but was the first of its kind in my many orders from them.

Tried parts.toyota today, never thought to order from them until you mentioned free shipping, placed some brackets for the rubber hoses (brakes) and two pre-bent lines, shipping was ~$150? Is that done on purpose due to the free shipping max of $200? A little annoying, but I'd just have to place two separate orders. There is a similar discount applied to the other sites I've browsed after selecting a local dealer and I'll be saving on shipping.

For large parts, such as headlight assemblies, body parts, running train, etcetera. Basically a nationwide chain of wrecking yards. Warehouses in many cities. Parts clean, boxed, warranty. Company is also expanding into aftermarket as well.

I spent my last decade working in a local auto parts store before I retired some years ago. I used to order items for customers. If the part wasn’t in the warehouse in a city three hours away, they would ship it there. I’d go and pick up and bring back to the store for the customer to pick up. Nice operation.
