Sounds like you have a storage problem more so than a vehicle problem. Two vehicles being owned by the same person either work for you, or they don't, for many it's the cost of ownership. If ok with the dollars you spend on the vehicles, then I would say two is ok. Plus you can divide up the mileage between the two and it should keep both in better shape and your cost should be manageable. I do store all my vehicles inside away from the elements, just something I've always done.
