Are the Panasonic's available for purchase? My 2016 is still going strong.

The original / factory battery in my 2006 Toyota Tundra lasted 9+ years. Incredible.

2014 4R still has the original battery and my kids 2011 FJ had it's original battery replaced last December.

Can't complain.

I think my 13 may have the original battery.

The battery in my 07 Volvo lasted 13 years, I replaced the original in early 2020, the guy at the parts store was not at all surprised it was original.

Update: was definitely the original battery in my 2013, I replaced it last week.

9 years is great, considering it lived under the hood. My Volvo battery lives under the floor in the cargo area, so it's not really exposed to the elements like under hood batteries are.

The original in my 2005 lasted ten years. Next NAPA was 7 years. I'm now using an AGM (just an Advance Auto one) recently installed and will see.

Those OEM Panasonic batteries are incredible. I'm in NE Ohio and go from 90+ degrees in the summer to 0- in the winter. My Dad and I are both still on the OEM battery, early 2014 and his is a 2015. Lots of people here replace their OEM batteries before they fail and I guarantee many of them are on their 3rd battery when the OEM would still be going strong. I have a small jump starter I keep with me, I won't be stranded when it finally gives up!

I've had the original Panasonic that lasted 11 years in my 99' Limited and a Duralast Gold that lasted 13 years in another vehicle. We'll see how long the Panasonic lasts in my 21' SR5 Premium. I believe one thing that helps is checking the battery's water level and keeping it on a battery tender when the vehicle is not driven very often.

Just bought a new battery from Toyota dealer yesterday, $159 out the door, it's a 27F and old one lasted 7years, 3months and was still starting the 4Runner, but we have some single digit and below weather coming, so it was time.
