If you are tech savvy, check out Pi-hole. Ad blocking at the network level so all your devices are covered. I use Tapatalk mostly and it blocks all the ads especially the annoying videos that blast audio in btw scrolling posts .

Same here - yesterday was my first use. The User interface is a bit different but loading time was quick and absolutely no ads which is important for my Ipad and my phone with their tiny screens.

I wish the forum just had the option to donate for an ad-free experience. The problem with running ad blockers for me is that half the sites that I visit force me to turn off the extension before I can view the content

I’ve been browsing using Brave this morning on my iPad. It’s nice not having the ads on this site. I first found the text size too small, but finally found the settings and adjusted.
I’m still using Safari for general browsing. Not because I like it better, I just haven’t taken the time to migrate all my bookmarks over to the new browser. And the vast majority of the sites I visit don’t have any ads, or they’re not intrusive.
This site has gotten ridiculous in the past weeks. Now when I open in Safari, I have multiple videos and ads piling up and blocking the view of all content, including the first ads to pop up. So now I have this site bookmarked on Brave and am using it presently solely for this site.

Is anyone else having problems accessing the forum on the brave browser? It still loads, but blocks almost everything and is basically unusable for me

Glad that I've found this thread as I'm also tired and annoyed by constant ads and popups. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
But what about proxies? Did anyone try them?

Not all the website you can use with the ad blocker now. Often they don't show you the information until you switch off the ad blocker
