4Runner - What Year/Trim
Looking for some knowledge on this 4Runner picture…

Can anyone tell me what year, outside accessory package/trim, and such, by just looking at it.

I took the picture of it in 2019 in Gold Canyon, Arizona – while staying at the Airbnb next door on vacation.

I really like the looks of this truck… and would love to find one like it to buy. But I don’t have a good feel for year and type of 4Runner.

I currently have a 2002 4Runner with 346,000 on it... and debating what to get next...

2014 or newer SR5 with aftermarket wheels, tires, roof rack/ladder, trailer hitch thing, and a window tint. looks like its the oem suspension but that's difficult to tell.

I concur! The 5th Gens are a little hard to tell apart with add-ons.

@jonfasch if you're looking for a 5th gen I would do some research on the upgrades that came with each model year. I think you'd want something more recent as their were substantial upgrades that came in around 2019 or 2020 IIRC.

I know this doesn't address the OPs question but that little utility box in the foreground looks like a small tombstone.
