That is like reusing a condom that is been worn by thousands of other dudes but only for a few days at a time.

Well, if you got money, then enjoy it however you like. While I did buy my '05 4Rrunner new (custom ordered), I find it more enjoyable buying a good used vehicle. I enjoy wrenching on things and tinkering with things...up to a point and having a used vehicle with some blemish is so relaxing and stress free. Don't really worrying about going into a crowded parking lot or the stray shopping cart. But's that's me...and I fully understand the potential issues of buying a used vehicle.

I think one of problems these days is people getting into other people's business too much...each to their own.

If you pay for the vehicle, the insurance and fuel...enjoy it...life is short.

Now, having said all that...I'm going to digress...the issue I have is when what you decide to spend or buy affects me in some way...either directly or indirectly. AKA...student loan forgiveness. I mean that money has to come from somewhere. I had student loans (less than 10k) and for about the first year, I lived in an apartment with a mattress on the floor for a bed, a small TV and a small table with two chairs (that my mom gave me) until those loans were paid off. I just don't understand.

Each to their own, but I just don't understand this concept of living in perpetual debt...but hey, if you got the money, enjoy life and don't care what other's think.

The prices are FINALLY starting to tempt me. I don't really like small trucks but I could get a Rubicon Gladiator and if I found one with the XR package, I'd not have to do much to it since it would come with a re-gear to 4.56 and 35s...and all under warranty. We have a LOT of Gladiators on lots here and while I see a lot of them driving around, the current supply is still significant. If I could not find a XR, I'd be tempted to build it to 37s with 4.88 gearing. My wife hates the look of it but it would be hard to beat the off-roading capability with anything but the Wrangler Rubicon and the bed could be useful for my home improvement projects too. Plus, she would not be driving it anyway...just criticizing the looks every now and then till she tires of that.

It really is. I have been looking online but not going to the dealerships yet since that is just practically committing! I have been trying to also piece together a Synergy lift with 35s and 37s to see what that would add to the cost.
